of sticky paper labels is that the actual
adhesive that is used to adhere the label to
the disc can, in the long term, can cause
deterioration of the disc and its data content.
So labels are not recommended as a disc
printing option, especially if you aim to use
the disc for archiving purposes, like saving
your family photos and videos.
Also, applying the labels to discs may leave
air bubbles between label and disc and this
can cause problems when the discs are
being read. Because DVDs run at a higher
rate of speed, it is generally recommended
that you only print labels directly on the disc.
